Spa etiquette - guidelines for RO
Here's how to get the best Spa experience

Get the best experience with us

To ensure every guest has a good experience, please follow the guidelines below.

It is important for us that all our guests feel welcome and enjoy the atmosphere of RO we have created in the Spa. That is why we have put together some simple tips and guides that our guests can follow so that everyone enjoys a pleasant experience.

Pregnancy

Many of our treatments are suitable for pregnant women, so please tell us in advance if you are pregnant, want and need so that we can give you the best possible treatment.

We recommend you listen and notice your body, for signs of discomfort, and stop your Spa activity immediately.

We offer treatment after the first trimester and up to 4 weeks before the due date.

We have pregnancy pillows and exclusive body products that can be tolerated by all types of skin and body.

Arrival

Get the best and calmest start to your experience in the Spa; we ask that you arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your treatment or Spa rituals start.

Have a shower in our dressing room before going into your treatment or Spa rituals. Exclusive products are available in our Comfort Zone dressing room as well as towels, bathrobes, etc. - provided at reception.

Health

We must take care of each other, and it is crucial that you are healthy during your stay. Upon arrival, we will ask you to answer the following questions concerning your health.

Have you experienced a fever or been unwell within the last 48 hours?

Are you pregnant?

Do you take medicine - if so, which ones?

Have you been operated on within the last six months?

Do you have allergies, if so, which ones?

Have you received botox, Restylane or filler within the last 30 days?

The information is only used in connection with your stay and will be destroyed immediately after your visit.

Cancellation

We want to give you the best possible experience at Spa Fjordgaarden, and should you have to cancel a pre-booked treatment or Spa ritual, either individually or as a group, we will ask you to do so at least 24 hours before your session starts - otherwise, we have to take full payment.

Attire

Upon arrival, you will receive a bathrobe, towel and slippers. During your stay in the Spa, you must wear a bathing suit. G-strings, burkini and attire below the knee are not accepted.
Spa Fjordgaaarden provides towels, bathrobes and slippers for use during your stay with us. To respect each other and the Spa's hygiene etiquette, we do not allow g-strings, knee-length swimwear or burkinis. You must always wear bathing suits when you are in the Spa area, regardless of gender and preferences.

Tranquillity, Presence and Respect

We endeavour to offer all our guests the best Spa-experience possible. You are not allowed to take photos or video of other guests.

We request that you speak and behave calmly and treat other guests with respect. Your stay in our Spa is at your own risk, and we are aware of your safety and security in all areas of the Spa.

Children

We welcome children in the Spa and for treatments from the age of 16 and older. An adult must always accompany a child.

Corona / COVID-19

Fjordgaarden has plenty of open space and is a perfect location to follow the authorities' instructions regarding social distancing. Hand sanitisers are available throughout the hotel, and all employees are focused on avoiding the spread of infection.

As a guest, we ask you to help us by showing consideration and following the instructions of the staff.
